After exploring the monastery and absorbing its spiritual significance, we'll descend and return to Paro for a well-deserved rest.

Day 3: Journey to Thimphu & City Exploration
After breakfast, we'll drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital city. The journey itself is scenic, offering picturesque views of Bhutanese countryside. In Thimphu, we'll visit iconic sites such as the Buddha Dordenma statue, offering panoramic views of the valley. We'll also explore Tashichho Dzong, the impressive fortress that houses the throne room and government offices. In the evening, we can enjoy a traditional Bhutanese cooking class.

We'll embark on a scenic drive to Punakha, crossing the Dochula Pass, which offers breathtaking mountain vistas. In Punakha, weโll visit the iconic Punakha Dzong, a majestic fortress strategically situated at the confluence of two rivers. Later, we'll visit Chimi Lhakhang, a fertility temple known for its unique blessings and charming atmosphere.
Tip: The drive to Punakha involves winding roads, so it's a good idea to take motion sickness medication if needed.
Day 6: Punakha Valley Hike & Return to Thimphu
We'll enjoy a moderate hike through the picturesque Punakha Valley, taking in the stunning scenery and experiencing the tranquility of Bhutanese nature. We can choose a hiking trail that suits our fitness levels, focusing on enjoying the natural beauty. In the afternoon, we'll drive back to Thimphu.
